Dehydrated animals horses/cattle/dogs/cats etc. should be monitored very closely before given electolytes of any kind they must have plenty of water in their system prior. There are many differnet solutions out there and you should research and find a product that will fit your need.
Even better call your Vet office and consult with them. Giving the wrong solution can reverse the hydrating process.
