I got a new saddle. It is a Billy Cook. The offside billet is enormously long and I don't know how to properly attach the cinch ? It isn't the type you tie like a man's tie, and it isn't just a legnth of doubled leather like the back cinch has. It is one long continuous piece of latigo that has holes punched in it that would line up if the leather were doubled BUT if you just loop it over the girth ring the tightest hole would put the offside cinch ring in my horses sternum area ? I am very, very confused ....
