get a solid with no charactoristics. My yearling gelding that I just bought is completely solid out of a leopard mare and by a chestnut with white blanket stud. He has nothing to get him regular papers.
But my trainer Al Anderson in Clemments has a 7 year old stud that went 3rd at the worlds with Terry Thompson 2 or 3 years ago in senior reining and he is a heck of a working cow horse. He is Dun with white spots over his hips. You can see his pedigree at:
