It depends on the foot too, sometimes the hoof wall is not perfect and they do their best, but the nail gets just 'too close' and causes irritation later on... not their 'fault' per se, and they appreciate the call to let them know to come back and fix it... I wouldn't fire one over it... maybe if they did it every time... but once? no.
