a friends stallion has fluid accumulation on the front medial cannons; where the tendons/splint bones are;(more medial than back of leg) says he hits it crossing over with front feet when working. Hes trying standing wraps & bute per the vet, looks like maybe tendonitis, but hes not even sure thats what caused it. Any thoughts? Not sure who his vet is, Ive seen bowed tendons, splints, etc, but this is just swelling/fluid accumulation. He said the vet aspirated it & it was serous fluid with some blood.
(I will try to get pics. Its front legs, inside to back of leg just above pastern on the cannon bones)
