3 of the 12 horses that we have here suffer from sunburned noses if I don't treat them every day. The diaper rash ointment not only protects them from the sun (zinc oxide) but if they have cracks or scabs on their noses than the diaper rash ointment soothes the sores were regular sun block might sting. I get the Equate brand at Wal-Mart for less than $3 a tube. I've been using this now for the last 2 years and it works great.
