I have to have 4 WD because of where I live, but I've needed it many times elsewhere.

Picking up horses, hay, panels out of fields, staging areas, hills...

Can be very limiting in the winter.
If you don't get it, just remember to check ahead before making arrangements to haul somewhere.

Maybe save money by getting a manual transmission instead of auto?
