I have 4wd on my truck and am very glad I do. What I have found it most helpful for is going up steep gravel roads, which are common around here. My 2wd would spin gravel all over my trailer, no matter what I did. The 4wd really helps. I agree with the folks who say they don't use it much, but when you need it, you're glad you have it!
