I have a youngster with the same issue. After 2 years of trying to correct the issue with bodywork ( 5 cs sessions) and trimming & Epona shoes ... I just had steel shoes put on. We have xrays for each year for the past 3... A vet that has a special interest in hoof/leg anomolies hovered over the farrier while he shod him .
This has taught me a lot. What my horse has on his feet most farriers wouldn't do. Let me know if you are interested in what we are doing for him - with steel shoes.
