Poplar parking Posted by Nenna on 6/30/2009, 7:06 pm, in reply to "where can i park and ride at Half Moon Bay" 71.146.16.145 From Highway 1, about half a mile south of the 92 intersection, take a right on Poplar. The parking is to the left almost all the way to the beach. There is an area for horse trailers. The ramp down to the beach is right there at the end of Poplar.  Post a Response

It would be great to hitch in with a few nice people in the valley who have to trailer out to ride on the beach, in the hills, etc. Riding along the canal roads in Stanislaus County is boring. At least I have the San Joaquin river pretty close. My dream is to ride on the beach someday... not this year, but maybe next when Moonster and I are a bit more 'experienced' LOL.
