Horse Boarding San Martin area Posted by mammomarj on 10/12/2009, 9:41 pm 71.116.99.107 Does anyone have a recommendation of where to board or not to board my newly acquired first horse in the San Martin area, near Harvey Bear Park? I was hoping to find a place a block or so from the Park. A small private boarding facility would be nice. She's 5 years old and is coming from the trainer's ranch in Ione, California and is new to California. She's from Colorado and is a sweety! I want to find her a comfortable home. She's been out in pasture in Colorado and wasn't sure if putting her in a smallish paddock would make her happy.  Post a Response

If you were brave enough to just ride down New, you could Anyways - my neighbor has the ultimate horse boarding environment. Small pastures with shelters for your horse or share if you have 2 horses, or want a buddy for your horse, she can match up. They do full care - feeding twice day, doing fly masks in summer, feeding supplements/grain daily for you at your request. And it's very reasonable! Lemme know if you want her info. Also Taylor Made Farm is right there, as well as California Stables - both should be on BAEN  Post a Response

Make sure you are logged in to the board and you should see, just under the banner, a line that says "Hello" followed by your user name, and then it should say "You have 1 new message!" Click there to read your personal message. You can send to anyone that is logged in by clicking on the little black outline of a person's head/shoulders next to their user name in a post. The good things are paddocks and pastures of different sizes, a number of trainers if you need help but training isn't required, several arenas including one covered. All the boarders and trainers are super nice. We're probably a couple of miles further down the road (you'd need to trailer to Harvey Bear but only about 5 minutes or so).  Post a Response
