reminder: orientation for Tolay Park tonight Posted by MysteryTheMorab on 10/21/2009, 9:11 am 64.54.105.78 New wildlife reserve in Petaluma. Permit holders can hike, cycle, picnic and ride there. Monthly orientation is tonight from 6 - 7 pm at 1094 Petaluma Blvd S, don't be late because they will turn you away. http://www.sonoma-county.org/PARKS/pk_tolay.htm I hope to see some riders there tonight!  Post a Response

We are going out to Pt Reyes this weekend." 67.100.89.187 I am still riding Cedar. He is my guy. We are learning basic dressage and loving it. I still do not have a trailer so no trail riding yet. My friend's horse is almost recovered from founder so eventually we will trailer. Cedar can only go on the left side- he had some bad experiences before I got him.i would love to go to Pt Reyes---someday I will and thank you for inviting me  Post a Response

They said few trees but still pretty. It is so close to Mystery I think it was the potential to be a great winter riding area for shorter rides... Mary still is taking it easy with her foundered horse so no trailering yet. We are optomistic and feel Tolay would be a close easy trail to start her guy back up. I ride in her arena/dry lot 2x a week. It is amazing how many muscles are needed to ride basic dressage!  Post a Response

wow, about 200 people showed up! They helped get this place purchased and in order and wrote one of the best articles I have EVER read on horse, bike and hikers sharing the trail. Is anyone here part of that group? It is only open Sat and Sun to the public so far but parking lot will hold around 18 trailers. I would love to hook up with other riders....  Post a Response
