Yeah, it's pretty foggy, cold and wet there. But when the sun does shine it's pretty nice! There are quite a few boarding places, one I know of that is good is firesteed stable in ferndale, there are others, but I don't know the names. You can search on craigslist.org or post there in the farm and garden and someone might have a suggestion. I'm 1 1/2 hrs east of there in Trinity County.
