Yesterday, Travelzoo pinged me on a $99 per night deal for all of June - including weekends at the Asilomar in Pacific Grove. $107 with tax & includes breakfast...Too good to pass up! Going on Saturday. Right on the beach... SCORE! As long as the linens and bathroom is clean, I'm good. Getting the hotel rate Aquarium tickets which are good for two days, so we're all set for the entire weekend. I'll let ya know how the place is. Personally, I'd go for the architecture. As a designer and architectural historian, I can't wait to see the Julia Morgan designed buildings!!!!

got the ping yesterday and did everything online last night. It's good for june and july- a bit more expensive in july by $20 i think... I'm sure they still have availability if you're quick!

Sunset Inn in Pacific Grove very near to Asilomar beach (one block) is around that price on the internet. It has a fireplace and a jaccuzi tub in the room. Small breakfast included.

in Monterey right now for a few days. We got married this passed weekend and can only get away for a few days because of shows and tims work. I love it here so pretty and nice to get away for a couple days!
