Looks like Cavalia is coming to San Jose!

As I was driving home from San Jose last evening (going my back way to miss the Montague traffic), I saw some signs marked CAVALIA with arrows.

Checked their website, and per their schedule, they seem to be opening July 18.
However, the funny thing is that the schedule I saw this morning showed opening July 11, so not sure what that's all about. Maybe not firm...

Anyway, fyi!

I drive by their setup on the way to work. They have the scaffolding up for the tent today. They leveled the soil last week, packed some sand on, and a bunch of ground squirrels made holes in it...LOL.

I think you would take Orchard Parkway or something like that, near First Street and Charcot?

Wow, so I guess they are moving right along!

I asked the person at the Cavalia booth at Expo about the July 11th date which was originally posted, and she said something about a delay due to permitting but that they would be in San Jose for 2 weeks. I see the website has been updated!

And yup, I take Orchard Parkway which runs between Charcot and Trimble (and just a hop and skip from 101). Atmel appears to be a short deadend street off Orchard. Have never been down it, but looks that way per their map.

I guess another way if coming from 1st street, would be to take Component Drive to Orchard.

Am really looking forward to it, as I've heard so much but never been!

I saw a sign on First Street, there tonight, with an arrow, pointing toward the tent area at the end of Component, out by 101.

It will be interesting once they bring all the horses there! I'm usually stuck at the meter light there in the morning...now something interesting to keep looking at!

Ahh...permit issues, that would explain the weird delays in between activity out there.

Today is the Cavalia tent raising!. The horses are coming soon. Definately opening July 18. Very exciting.

We got our tickets at Expo. 15% off and no service fees! I don't they they were advertising that though??? We had to actually ask him.
