I know it's been asked before but it's been a while - mortality/medical insurance recommendation?

Companies that will cover a pleasure horse that isn't worth a fortune for a decent amount of medical coverage? Good companies to deal with? I seem to recall that when I was shopping a few years ago, the cap for medical coverage was limited by the mortality amount, and if the horse wasn't a valuable show or breeding horse, it was impossible to justify a value that was worth insuring. Are there companies that are more reasonable about this?
I found Chris Hocutt to be very helpful with this type of situation. She represents several insurance companies. Some companies will let you insure for a higher medical coverage than the declared value of the horse, and others won't. I went with Star Net insurance, but Great American offers that option too.
