BLM delivers water to drought-stricken Colorado HMAs

Friends in Colorado tell me the BLM out there really does try its best to take care of the horses, and forge partnerships with local groups that want to help. They recently held a collaborative range cleanup in Sand Wash Basin and removed over 750 pounds of barbed wire from the range.
I mentioned before that the BLM here makes huge efforts to keep the wild horse herds in food / water. They have had to move a bunch off the range in our Eastern desert though, the drought was really doing them in. I plan to attend a gather not too far from here later this summer. Should be interesting.
