Can anyone tell me whats the cheapest rates for insurance for a horse stable in terms of boarding, lessons and possible trail riding ON property? any and all advice, ideas, suggestions appreciated --not for me for a friend

There isn't a flat rate for that sort of thing. You have to decide the limit on the general liability, and then the exposure, which will take into consideration such things as the type of lessons, riding, showing, etc. , will influence the cost. If you are boarding valuable horses it will affect the care/custody/control insurance amount. Structures to be covered also affect the amount. Contact several different companies and compare quotes.

As mentioned, you'll need to shop around a bit to compare prices - and make sure you are getting the specific coverage you need/want (compare "apples to apples").
I'd highly suggest you contact Equisure. I use them for my trainer's insurance & they are great. Easy to work with, quick to respond, and pricing as held up (I've done recomparisons a couple times when renewals came up). They do offer insurance for boarding facilities, as I see those questions on my application/renewal forms.
