I know it's been talked about but I cant find the thread - best horse insurance and why? Anyone have input about Markel specifically or does anyone have one that they really like? http://www.prophecyfarms.com

I had a policy started last year with C. Jarvis Insurance, when I lost my stallion in March of this year (accident) they didn't dispute anything and paid out promptly.

Daughter's barrel horse had a bone chip. They paid for everything, even treatments to encourage healing (IRAP - similar to stem cell)
Didn't cancel policy either after pay out.
My vet uses this agency. Husband's horses died suddently of heart attack. Agency paid quickly. NO hassles.
