I didn't know if you ever go in chat so wanted to THANK YOU so very much for posting that video, it seriously played a big part in Saving my mare Parade's life.
You see we had done so many tests, treatments etc. Over the last two years trying to figure why my mare had been off her feed, lost alot of weight, became unbelievably cinchy so bad in fact that we gave up riding her. We tried chiro, Bowen therapy etc. Nothing helped.
The night before her euth appt the neighbor just happened to remember that we needed to check with EID for water lines before he dug her burial site. That night I Read yout post, whatched the video you posted and BAM it hit me she had EVERY SINGLE symptom of ulcers, we just never before added them all up.
Tuesday I had her scoped and sure enough that is what it was. Loomis did 2 full pages of blood work and all bloodwork for all organ functions were perfect so vet is positive with meds (Gastrogard) and proper diet ( i was feeding all the "wrong" feeds for a horse with ulcers trying to keep weight on her) that she should make a FULL RECOVERY.
So just wanted to THANK YOU from me and Parade.

Oh my gosh! That is such wonderful news. That just warms my heart. I'm so happy that you discovered what Parade was suffering from and that it is something fixable. All my best to you and Parade :D
For posting that video I know they weren't posted for my benefit, but I happened to read it and it changed everything for Parade. Thanks again. This board is just the best!!!

After reading the story about Parade I went through the board and found the video and watched it. Very very informative, thank you as well from me, I'm going to go through the accupuncture points on my horses just to make sure they are healthy in that regard. I don't feed any of the the 'no no ' feeds', but I think it's a good thing to check to make sure their tummies are working smoothly, especially since I do give my old one pain mess on a regular basis.
