I'm looking for recommendations for boarding a retired mare. Due to a very hectic schedule (including traveling), I need to find a full care type of situation (includes cleaning, feeding enough to keep her in good weight, and checking on her regularly. I would prefer a lg. paddock w/ shelter (if possible). Any suggestions? Given that she is retired, I don't need an arena or round pen. Prefer Saratoga or Southbay.
TIA,
Kathy
Re: Board for retired mare in Saratoga or South Bay
There are a couple of private barns down near Pierce Rd. and Mt. Eden in the Saratoga hills. One is on flat land, has pipe paddocks, and someone does turnout. Email me for more info

My retiree lives in a large paddock with a shelter and a friend on full care in Livermore at Airdance. It's not a fancy place but the horse care is really good.
