have a call into the vet and waiting on a call back. Melia's cannon (front left) has been swelling up and going down.. no heat, no lameness. I did a google search today and ready something that standing around or too much grain could cause it. She's out in pasture (probably standing around all day) and doesn't get "too much grain".

Does she have a bug bite or something higher up on her leg that would cause extra fluid to build up, and then drain down? If no external injury or excessive pawing, that is what I would start to look for.
Cold hosing helps with taking the swelling down. Pillow wraps, but wrap both legs for support.
Gateway to Almaden Valley/Southwest San Jose Saving one dog's life may not make a difference, but it makes all the difference in the world to that one dog.
Hmmm I'll have to take a closer look..
