Selling a young horse right now

Hello all, |
I've been away from the horse world for a while (and my horses who have been pastured) and am not really up to date on how the horse market is. I'm considering selling my 7 year old Arabian Morgan mare and have no idea how likely I am to find her a good home. I am going to start by looking around in my circle of horse friends first, but since that is a slim chance to get me anything, I may be looking outside of selling her to friends. I've never sold a horse before and so am looking for any advice I can get.
My thought is to price her at what I think is a fair value for her but I would likely give her away to a good home. I don't want to post her as free because I feel that posting a purchase price helps to keep the interested parties to responsible people. If that makes any sense.
She has solid groundwork but has not been started under saddle yet. Very sensitive, looks and acts all Arab, you wouldn't even guess she has Morgan in her! Very good bloodlines on both sides, but I would guess that since she is a cross her bloodlines probably matter less then her talents. She is very affectionate and looking to please, but very nervous due to inconsistent handling and training.I purchased her as a 1 year old with the intention of training her for endurance, however my current situation makes endurance training very difficult.
I'm still very on the fence about selling her, but having a better idea of what is going on out in the horse world would really help.
Thank you so much for any advice or input!
