Has the horse always been this since you owned her, was she this way with previous owner. Usually in most cases its an insecurity either with horse and or horse and rider. In the right settings the horse and rider can learn there is no threat when other horses come around. Now your horse does have the right to get upset if the horse and rider approaching her have bad energy, its a protection to both her and you. But its your repsponsibility to keep her from those situations. If she trusts you will do that then her worry will go away. I have a student who is 13, her horse was a bad kicker when she first came here. Now when she is with her girl you can ride all around her with no worries cause the girl and the horse learned together how to be okay in group settings. |
