Unless things have changed at ALT, I think the boarding barn was self-care. I had mine in my backyard when I lived there, which is sure preferable to boarding, anyway, but I had to trailer or go about a mile on the trail to the nearest arena. |
One of the trainers there was killed a few years back in the round pen. She was alone, so no one found her for several hours. They don't know what happened, just that she took a blow to the head. The round pen was a solid walled one, so they may have changed to an open one since then. I haven't been there in 15 years. It could all be different. I sure loved living there, though.
