I think I know which effect you are refering to Tank (by the way, thanks for visiting the board!). It was very prominent in the Batman movie from 1966. If I am guessing correctly here, the effect they used for the "instant dehydrating" of the United World Council members is what you seek. I'll look into finding a good sample of that effect, or at least recording a sample from the DVD. Give me a week or so, thanks.
