Available on Dec. 15 is "The Three Stooges Hollywood Filming Locations." 336 glossy, hardbound pages with hundreds of photos of the buildings and locations on The Columbia Ranch (aka today as The Warner Ranch), and the former Columbia Studios at Sunset & Gower, as seen from the early 1930s thru today.
Even if you don't like the Three Stooges, this is essentially a history book that features scores of images of buildings and sets that can be seen in just as many episodes of BEWITCHED. While the films featured pre-date construction of 1164 Morning Glory Circle, structures and locations built decades earlier that were there 1964-1972 are shown... the park, the homes and brownstones surrounding it, the downtown NY streets, and much more. Historical background information is also provided for many of the sites and structures.
Highly recommended.
(Please excuse the unashamed plug. I'm not just a Three Stooges fan... I participated in a lot of the books's research, and contributed plot synopses for each of its chapters.)
