Here is a clip of her singing as Marie Dressler for Cavalcade (1939): Download Here (I love this one). Finally, a clip of AM portraying contralto Marian Anderson for The March of Time (1939), including the singing of a brief operatic passage: Download Here.
Yes, there are some surviving recordings from radio days, such as when she would sing a brief incidental song (in character). She sang a little in a few of her movies, including Summer Holiday, What's the Matter With Helen, and Charlotte's Web. And in her final Broadway musical GiGi, she formed part of an ensemble piece called The Contract, where partly she sang and partly talked on pitch.
The movie songs are available on their soundtrack recordings; the GiGi number is on the original cast album; and I've made some of my own clips, bits and pieces of her singing on radio, primarily from Cavalcade of America.
Here is The Contract (1973): YouTube.
Here is a clip of her singing a lullaby on a Cavalcade broadcast (1941): Download Here.
Here is a clip (actually an outtake) from Summer Holiday (1946): Download Here.
