In this week's "Cheers and Jeers," which covers the whole year, there is a Jeer "to the tarnished halos of ABC's Charlie's Angels, the latest botched TV remake that failed to capture the magic and fun of the enduringly escapist original.. . . Surely it's not too late to beg CBS to leave our beloved Bewitched alone."
Ain't it the truth! "Witches are good! Witches are dear!"
I agree that a remake might not be the best way to go but I would love to see a "continuation" of the original with Erin Murphy reprising her role as Tabitha and maybe David Lawrence as Adam. I could totally see a new show being built around Erin as a modern suburban witch. I think it would be a lot of fun to see how the products of the very first witch/mortal union grew up just as long as it's well produced, written and directed. Am I asking for too much?
