In August 1969, while gearing up for the sixth season of Bewitched, Agnes was interviewed for the CBC Radio series Something to Say.
CBC Radio has periodically made this program available on their web site, as part of their Rewind program. Currently the episode is posted, but there is no telling for how long:
The program is one hour, but is not a full hour's interview, as excerpts from some performances are included. The interview itself is probably about thirty minutes. Back in the 1970s a ten-minute excerpt of this interview had been released on an LP titled "Conversations in Hollywood." This posting from the CBC I believe is the complete interview.
In the final segment they discuss Don Juan in Hell, and Agnes concludes her remarks with a favorite quote from one of Juan's speeches, which refers to the artist: "I cultivated my senses for his sake; and his songs taught me to hear better, his paintings to see better, and his poems to feel more deeply."
That was thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. I wish some of the performance snippets were more Agnes-centric. The interview was the real gold. I learned a lot about that alien world, the business of acting; and a visit with Ms. Moorehead is always a welcome occasion.

"Sterbo... Vectra... Rangay... Zeem. You're about to have a dream. And, in the words of a wise philosopher, it's going to be a BEAUT!"
What an awesome lady! She was always true to herself. Such a refined and classy personality. I only wish that today's so called "starlets" could listen to this interview. I love the part where she speaks of not having to curse and take her clothes off. Great interview. Thanks so much for sharing!
