Posted by Charleston Chew on 7/28/2004, 15:50:07 Capping off a furious week of rumors and specualation, the Woolfs have pulled off two trades to bring Moss back to his native land. First, they sent Marvin Harrison and Chad Pennington to the Lagers for Corey Dillon and Tony Gonzalez. The teams also swapped picks, with the Woolfs giving up their fourth round selection for the Lagers' fifth round pick. But Dillon and Gonzalez weren't Woolfs for long. The two were immediately sent to Moose River, along with quarterback Joey Harrington, for Moss, last year's number one overall pick. Team owner Rick Lord immediately signed Moss through the 2005 season, and says he expects the talented receiver to be a fixture in West Virginia. "I know the Woolfs have been Ahman Green's team for five years, but Randy will galvanize this organization, and this town," said Lord. Indeed, season ticket sales were up 30% in the first hour after the trade was announced. Moss will speak to the media tomorrow.

(CHARLESTON, WV--- AP) In 1994, Randy Moss capped off an amazing high school career at DuPont with a disappointing loss in the State Championship. Ten years later, he's returning to Charleston as a Woolf.
