But its the middle of August. You see any snow around? Then why was there Snow all over Quincy's room?" Although many people within the organization felt Quincy Carter never would have made this team, The Mounties felt it was necessary to make an example of the self=proclaimed "Michael Jordan of the BFL". Complicating matters is the leagues collective bargaining agreement which prohibits teams from cutting players based on drug use. Carter has vowed to fight this and get reinstated to the team. We'll see what happens. As for the camp, we see interesting players vying for roster spots. Newly acquired Dillon, Harrington and Gonzales, are fighting it out with Trent Green, Jamal Lewis, Jeremy Shockey and the Patriots defense. With the final cut less than 2 weeks away, it will be interesting to see who makes the team....

As training camp opened here in International Falls, MN. It would appear that Quincy Carter has fallen out of favor with his employer.
