It's on Blackstone Blvd, on the north end of town. I know there are a few left in the LA area, but other than in Michigan they are pretty much a dying breed. The Fresno one is a good example of late 60's-early 80's era of building design. There is also a very run down former Big Boy about a mile and a half south of the current one, it is on an odd block where it's on a corner, and behind it on the corner of the paralell street is a gas station that has appropirated the Big Boy's distinctive sign, it's pretty odd looking. I think the gas station was once the BB's parking lot, and the the restaurant took up the whole end of the block. Here's a link to the old Big Boy's former appearance, once can hardly believe the run down Chinese restaurant it is today was once this great structure. http://www.googieart.com/BobsBigBoy3.htm --Previous Message--
