What has happened to your Winn-Dixies?

Ours in Louisville became Buehler's Markets, same ownership as Buehler BuyLow that has stores in southwestern Indiana and area. However, today they announced they're closing the remaining few ex-Winn Dixies. One is slated to become a Kroger, others may be resold by Associated Wholesale Grocers. Wondering what has happened in the other areas of the country, especially KY and Cincinnati? On a related note, a fellow who has lived in Lou for many years recalled that there was a different BuyLow chain in town, perhaps spelled differently, circa 1970's or so.
