My 89 year old mother and I were just discussing some of these spots a few weeks ago. She reminded me that she used to get free passes via her Bowman Milk bottle tops. You could redeem all kinds of stuff for cash value back in those days. I got my first electric guitar from a S&H Green Stamp redemption center back in oh probably around 1966.
