Railfanning W&LE

I'm hoping to railfan the W&LE this summer - especially after reading the article in Trains Magazine. I understand Spencer is the "hot spot". Can anyone give me an approximate schedule of when the trains run (mornings vs. afternoons, etc.)? Also, have there been any problems or hassles reported by fans who watch or photograph trains at Spencer? Thanks in advance.
