c & p railroad /train wreck

I am reseaching information of a train wreck involving a C & P engine that crashed in Ohio around 1904-05. The engine # 577. Killed in the crash was one of my ancestors John L. Adams who was employed by the railroad for 25 years. We believe it happened near Salineville, Ohio.
