Posted by Shari I am new to this message board, although I frequent quite a lot of other ones so I thought I would give this a try. I used to live in a really neat building in Covington/Latonia, about 8 minutes from downtown Cincy. I know this because I work downtown. The building is 103 years old. When the landlord purchased it it was in condemed condition. He is painstakingly refurbishing it. I cannot describe how neat of a place this is. It would never do it justice. The second and third floor of the building are done and are beautiful very unique apartments. I used to live in the loft/studio. I loved it. It has a slanted wall with three skylights which he put a cloud mural on simply because I thought it would look neat. A pic of that is below. Sometimes the clouds on the mural and the real clouds from the sky light blend in and became one. The whole thing is very open and beautiful. It has c/a, washer & dryer hook up, a very deep claw tub, separate shower stall and 9 foot ceilings. The yard is a picnic grove park. It is next to a train museum so you have views of old dining cars and other trains that are that are just fascinating. The rent is $525. It really is an incredible place. In fact, I actually miss it a lot despite having a beautiful apartment of my own. The reason that I moved is because I became pregnant and my boyfriend and I moved to a much bigger place to have more room for our family. It does not look like an apartment that you would find in Cincinnati let alone Covington. Everyone that sees it tells me it looks like a New York Apartment. It is very chic and stylish. The landlord is one of the best landlords that I have ever come across. He is a very nice and sincere man that is so proud of this place, as he should be. He worked hard on it and you can tell. I post this on here because I loved the place so much and I want to get someone in there that enjoys it just as much as I did. Please let me know if you are interested to see it.
