Identify Caboose

We have a caboose we are trying to sell, we are unsure of the age and make of car. On the bottom of the car, there is "ILLINOIS-S-USA", and on the rail tracks it sits on is "a.s.c.e.-7540-illinois-usa-s-1111-1916". It may have been from Chicago/Minneapolis/Pacific Railway, it is a horizontal ribbed bay window caboose. It was purchased in 1990. It was repainted outside and is finished inside with lights, and electrical. Any help is appreciated.
