Which is,
There are people with arthritis.
There are people with carpal tunnel.
There are people with arthritis and carpal tunnel.
But that doesn't mean that arthritis causes carpal tunnel nor does carpal tunnel cause arthritis... it just means that there are those out there with arthritis and carpal tunnel which is an obvious assumption to make.
And that's the point, I was trying to make. These are non-scientific studies. Assumptions. And assumptions can be mixed and matched to give you any answer you want if you pick the correct parameters to make it work.
