I'm in Cliffwood. The cook-off will start about 9:30 in the morning. Judging will start about 11:30am. Come on out. All the money will go to the Medication Fund to help patients pay for their medications (very expensive). Some of the cooks are starting their chili tonight. You can sample chili at various tents, buy raffle tickets for great prizes, and listen to the entertainment. We've got kids games and crafts, too.
We're set-up in an open area, but they've cordoned off one shelter (it lost part of a wall) and are doing clean-up. Lots of trees and some light poles are down. The open area we're in is right behind the command post for the emergency response. That overturned trailer in some of the Farmer's Market video was to be our stage! Looks like the tornado touched down just before the Sandy Ridge Road bridge and headed east. The Citgo station at the exit lost the roof over one set of pumps, but there's no damage before you come to that point.
