I was bullied at school for a whole three weeks before I did something about it. Unfortunately what I did got me suspended and the person who bullied me got nothing, except 2 broken fingers which I gave him when I bashed him with a hockey stick. I go (went?) to boarding school where the elder boys almost run the place. Im 13+yrs so Im at the bottom of the order and "subject" to everyone else above me. A prefect took a dislike to me and began to make my life hell because I wouldn't play his games which included touching me. I am gay and prefer friendships with gay boys my own age. No one at school knows Im gay because oddly that would be really bad news.
The day i got suspended I was in the grounds when this prefect appeared and then really laid into me for no reason. he just kept on picking on me and screaming at me. Well, I just went crackers and lost control. I grabbed a hockey stick from a boy who was about to go off and play and hit the prefect twice. Apparently his hand took the full force of the second blow which is when it broke his fingers.
Its odd, because I have never had a fight with anyone or wanted to. I rarely argue and never loose my temper and rarely remain upset with anyone for more than fractions of seconds. Until this prefect started on me I never had any enemies either, but suddenly I had and they were all his friends. I didn't know most of them. Never spoken to them.
I never ever got into trouble at my last school.
So, the school has sent me off to "consider my present and future." I refused to apologies because I think the prefects behaviour was "unreasonable." I know mine was, but it was because Id had enough. Because of the strict code of not snobbing I could do nothing about him - ever! Even teachers support the code so I would have got no sympathy there.
Not sure where Im going now because my mother seems bent on protecting me! Another new school looks likely!
