Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you.
I'm VERY sorry to hear that your best friend is bullying you. That's not nice. She should know better. I think you're going to have to have a VERY serious talk with her. You're going to have to let her know how you feel about being ditched and about being the butt of her jokes. AND you're going to have to let her know that if she doesn't start to treat you like a best friend should - she might lose you as a friend. Now I know that might seem like an awful thing to say to your best friend - but you can't have someone in your life who doesn't respect how you feel. The fact that you 'can't take a joke' [As far as she is concerned] is not YOUR problem - it's HER problem. If she knows that about you - she should stop. A best friend is supposed to go out of their way to make their friend feel GOOD - not BAD.
If you don't think you can talk to her in person about this - you can write her a letter. But don't become overly dramatic. Just be straight forward and honest about how you're feeling. You're not trying to guilt trip her or make her feel awful. You're just trying to get her to become more respectful of you.
I hope that makes sense.
That said.... I'm sorry to hear that your mom died last year. That's an awful thing. My heart goes out to you.
