They have some silly message board where they write in lower case and use terms like "kewl" a lot. It developed as an offshoot of the punk rock/hardcore scenes of the early 1980's when the term itself is believed to have been coined by Ian Mackaye, in the self titled song, while he was the singer of the seminal hardcore band, Minor Threat. Mackaye eschewed the nihilistic tendencies of punk rock, promoting instead the simple (almost simplistic) philosophy of "don't drink/ don't smoke/ don't ####."

Actually, you're more likely some silly kid who spends weekend nights screwing around on a PC, probably a mid-priced Compaq that mommy bought for you. You thought it would be humorous to post some crap that might incite people using this site to go to xstraightedgex.com and post some crap in retaliation, because you think straight edge is a weird click. You probably smoke a little herb with your little buddies and think you're cool; meanwhile to mommy you're still her little baby.
