I sure could have used someone like you when I was growing up. Going to school in Honolulu was hell for this skinny Haole boy with no decent father or mentor of any kind, and few if any friends.
I also got bullied in high school in San Diego until I got my licks in good. When the neighborhood hoods couldnt lift the back of a '71 Subaru clear off the ground by the rear bumper like I could they started to leave me alone. Few others could force open the air-operated door of a Crown school bus like I had to do one afternoon when some "mother dog" reached for the 'Close" button and closed it in my face and I had to force my way in and break her fingernails off to teach her a lesson. Also, a spoiled brat who harrassed me at the school bus stop in the mornings took it too far one morning in the school library and I pasted his face until the library assistant who saw it from the beginning told me "OK you can stop" and I stopped hitting him. The rest of my senior year was much better and I "came out" a year after I graduated.
