I think that stinks. No one has the right to make ANYONE's life miserable. It's so sad how SOME people deal with their OWN insecurities by making OTHER people feel bad. And that's what a bully is - a very insecure person. What can YOU do? Well.. that's a tough question to answer. I think the first thing YOU have to do is take care of yourself. Do everything you CAN do to make YOU a stronger and more confident person. A bully can smell an easy 'mark' a mile away. They almost always pick on someone who is sensitive and vulnerable. And being sensitive is great - but sometimes we [as the victims of abuse] HAVE to do something to protect ourselves. I know this may sound like an odd question - but if a mentally challenged person [a 'retarded' person] made fun of you - would you take it to heart? OR would you dismiss it - and go on with your life? Assuming your answer was that you would dismiss 'it' - that's how you're going to have to react to whatever it is a bully says to you - because THEY are emotionally 'retarded'. You are a very special person. And although what I'm about to say may sound a little too 'religous' - I believe it's the truth. God is aware of every tear you have shed - but He can only help you IF you ASK Him to help. Put aside any negative thing you may have heard about God and just start to pray. [which simply means - 'talk to God'] There's no 'right way' to pray. "Hi God - it's me. I sure could use your help!!" [something like that] ANd I'll pray for you too. I'm not 'religious'. In fact - I don't even go to church. But I believe in God because He HAS helped me - many times. Please feel free to post another message. I care about you and will keep you in my thoughts.
