Do you happen to have any information on a Mary Diggs b. abt 1820/21 d. 1907 who married 1st, Lewis Hudgins (as his second wife) in 1853 and 2nd,William James, a widower? It is said that her mothers name was Polly and that she was related to Lewis Hudgins first wife, Elizabeth Williams, so her mother may have been Polly Williams. She is buried at the family plot at Fitchett's Wharf where Lewis had a shipbuilding business as well as a store and a hotel. I'm trying to find out about her relationship to the Diggs family. Any help would be apprediated. I have checked your descendnts webpage but haven't found an exact connection although some of the early names are listed by some of my other family members.
