Corrections and changes to my previous note. J.Martin Diggs and my father were second cousins. Their grandmother's were sisters.(Molly Banks Hudgins and Buena Vista Banks Diggs)
My Diggs great grandmother's maiden name was Susan Owens.
I would very much like to hear from other decendants of Thomas and Susan Diggs. I am searching for the father of Anthony Diggs born 1790 and married a Mary, born 1794. They were in Mathews in 1850 census. Thomas Diggs was one of their children.
