Posted by Bill Burroughs on 10/7/2004, 1:51 pm, in reply to "Diggs" I don't see the Rev. Thomas Diggs in my records but I do have a John Diggs born 8 Dec 1779. He was known as John Diggs of Peartree. I did not have his wife's name. His parents were John Diggs Sr. of Gloucester County and Mildred Ann Miller. I believe that they were people of property. To this day my branch of the Degge/Diggs family is buried in Peartree Cemetery in Mathews County, Virginia. FYI - Bill
