When you have your licence then seek private tuition for driving buses - I can recommend two driving schools that provide lessons on 12 metre (39ft) coaches. Try Irish School of Motoring in Dorset Street, or Airport School of Motoring, both these schools have manual coaches, ISM has a 1986 Bedford YMT, but Airport School of Motoring have a 1997 Volvo B10M which I am told is a far better machine. The driving schools will advise you on how to apply for your test and what you will need to do to pass. Best of luck with it!

To learn to drive buses you will need a provisional category 'D' licence, and to get this you will need to have passed the driver theory test for this test (see www.dtts.ie) - the driver theory test (DTT) consists of 40 random safety & driving related questions
